Replacement In the event of a valid claim and provided the Manufacturer’s Vehicle repair time is in excess of 8 working hours, a replacement
Hire: vehicle will be provided Free of Charge.
The customers Fully Comprehensive Insurance must cover the replacement vehicle.

1. It is the responsibility of the vehicle owner to authorise dismantling and to pay charges if such dismantling proves that the failure is not the responsibility of Bandon Motors.
2. No claim will be considered where it is considered by an independent engineer that fault(s) were wholly or partly caused by the lack of servicing and /or maintenance. Bandon Motors reserves the right to examine the vehicle and subject the damaged parts to expert assessment.
3. If any difference should arise under any section of the Warranty, such difference shall be referred to an Arbitrator, appointed by the S.I.M.I.
4. The owner is responsible for the first €50.00 of any claim, where the vehicle mileage exceeds 70,000 miles at the time of a claim being admitted to Bandon Motors.
5. In the event of a claim being admitted, Bandon Motors reserves the right to request a contribution from the owner for betterment, should the repaired vehicle be in a better condition than it enjoyed immediately prior to occurrence of the claim.

This Warranty does NOT cover:

1. The gradual reduction in operating performance commensurate with the age or mileage covered by the vehicle. This includes but is not limited to:
   a. Gradual loss of engine compression, necessitating the repair of valves or rings.
   b. Gradual increase in oil consumption, due to normal operating functions.
2. Any loss, unless the vehicle has been serviced in accordance with the requirement of this Warranty.
3. Any loss where the odometer has been tampered with, altered or disconnected by the owner.
4. Repairs, replacements or alterations not authorised by Bandon Motors.
5. Vehicles used for private hire or reward, (i.e. taxis, self drive hire, driving schools, etc.), or vehicles used in any sort of competition, rallying or racing of any kind.
6. Any damage occurred in whole or in part, due to any type of accident, which is wilful, unlawful or negligent.
7. Consequential damage to parts not covered and damage to parts caused by non covered parts failing.
8. Repairs commenced without the prior authorisation of Bandon Motors.
9. No liability will be accepted for damage caused by neglect, corrosion, any foreign matter getting into or onto a part; lack of servicing; the effects of over-heating, whether caused by an insured part or not; freezing, abuse, damage to parts not covered by this policy or consequential damage flowing there from; damage to parts covered caused by parts not covered by this warranty.
10. The clearing of fuel lines, filters, carburettors and pumps.
11. The diagnosis and repair of External & Internal Oil Leaks.
12. The diagnosis and repair of Air Conditioning Leaks.
13. The diagnosis and repair of Water Ingress / Leaks after 3 months from purchase date.
14. The replacement of any fluids or sundries as a direct result of a failure of any of the listed components is not covered nor is any serviceable item, i.e. Oil, Filters, Lubricants, Antifreeze, Distributor Cap, Rotor Arm, Condensers, Points, H.T. Leads, Spark Plugs, Wiper Blades, Light Bulbs, Belts.
