Their recently appointed Sales Manager, Mr. David Barry, brings with him over 20 years sales experience from the old Dennehy’s Cross Ford Dealer and has proved an invaluable addition to the Bandon Motor’s Team.

Following it’s acquisition of the former Cahalane’s premises on the Cork Road, Bandon in August last year, Bandon Motors opened a new chapter in it’s success story by achieving main dealer status for three additional brands: Saab, Seat and Suzuki. “We are absolutely delighted to bring these franchises to West Cork” said Bob Clarke, Dealer Principal of Bandon Motors.

Saab is a true luxury brand - a Swedish company originally set up to design and build aircrafts - Saab has taken its aircraft build standards, top quality engineering and combined them with Scandinavian design flair to produce an absolute top quality range of cars. “We expect Saab to become a big player in the rapidly growing luxury car market in Cork and we felt that this franchise was an excellent opportunity for us to offer a prestige brand to our customers and increase Saab sales in Cork.” said Bob Clarke, Dealer Principal of Bandon Motors. Bryan Gallwey, our Saab Sales Manager, has an in-depth knowledge of the Saab Range with over 6 years experience selling Saab in Cork City and will be able to advise our customers on the best New Saab or quality pre-owned vehicle to suit their needs.

Seat is the sporting wing of Volkswagen and as such combines Volkswagen’s own high build quality with a sporting design, which very evident in the new Leon and the recently launched Altea XL. “So far the Seat franchise has proved highly successful with sales of new and used cars already well ahead of our expectations.” said Bob Clarke.

Suzuki have a great range including the new Swift, Irish Car of the Year in 2006, the Grand Vitara which is the original of the SUV species and the recently launched SX4 range. The entire Suzuki range is designed to suit pocket and performance yet does not compromise on style or quality.
